BLOOD BROTHERHOOD

The experience gained during work on the top TheRed series was used in the design process of the TheRay Speakers Cable. Many materials and solutions were also taken over from the TheRed series! Courtesy Roger Adamek, the prototypes were tested in his RCM audio salon in Katowice on systems composed of C.E.C, TechDas, Vitus Audio, Thrax, Gauder Akustik and Kuzma devices. The possibility of cable design in the environment of the Ultra High-End systems resulted in the creation of a cable with a very even transparent characteristics that is able to transfer the signal between the highest class devices.

FROM INSPIRATIONS TO REALIZATION

Design is a process of transforming multiple influences in the designer's mind, which determinates the final result. As an architect, I always look at my surroundings analytically. I see the code that, in many cases, has been used to achieve a specific result, both aesthetically and technically.

The drawings helps better to understand the form and the light which is cutting the shapes. No matter if it's the building or a aluminum "brick" for the cable...! This is the most important difference between hand-drawing and the computer-designing- capturing the light!

When the design is ready for the next step we start creating the  first prototypes on CNC cutting machines. This is the right time to discuss whether they meet our expectations. At this stage, we also begin cable auditions, which demonstrate whether the design assumptions have proven effective in practice.

This is a cable that gives you great joy from listening to music. It "energizes" the message, and moreover combines this feature with naturalness, openness and refinement worthy of the highest shelf. The key word is energy, because the message is literally bursting with it, but not at the expense of control. The sound attack is strong, but not hardened, the bass goes low, it is powerful, but at the same time sufficiently compact, fast and well-differentiated. There is a lot going on at the top of the band, there is no shortage of energy or freshness. The sound is open and full of air. Both edges of the range, although quite strongly marked, are well stitched with the full, colorful midrange, creating a coherent, lively, yet restrained whole. Marek Dyba

HANDCRAFTED ORIGINAL DESIGN

The TheRay Speakers Cable, just like the cables from the top TheRed line, is an absolutely original design, built 100% by hand, using only original solutions and materials.  Great emphasis was placed on selecting the optimal cable geometry and special vibration damping materials, matching them to the materials used as conductors. The signal is conducted using pure high purity oxygen free copper. The total cross-section of the working wires is 2 mm2. These cables are a compilation of two different cores. Each of them has a different design.

WK Audio TheRAY SC is a high-end speaker cable in both versions, and it does offer a distinctive sonic character. This is a cable that will work well in many high-end systems. The high energy that TheRAY SC brings will be useful in all types of music, because even acoustic jazz or vocals will be more saturated with energy, but it will be a special bonus for fans of rock, metal, and large symphonic music.
