BLOOD BROTHERHOOD

The experience gained during work on the top TheRed series was used in the design process of the TheRay Power Cable. Many materials and solutions were also taken over from the TheRed series! Courtesy Roger Adamek, the prototypes were tested in his RCM audio salon in Katowice on systems composed of C.E.C, TechDas, Vitus Audio, Thrax, Gauder Akustik and Kuzma devices. The possibility of cable design in the environment of the Ultra High-End systems resulted in the creation of a cable with a very even transparent characteristics that is able to transfer the signal between the highest class devices.

FROM INSPIRATIONS TO REALIZATION

Design is a process of transforming multiple influences in the designer's mind, which determinates the final result. As an architect, I always look at my surroundings analytically. I see the code that, in many cases, has been used to achieve a specific result, both aesthetically and technically.

The drawings helps better to understand the form and the light which is cutting the shapes. No matter if it's the building or a aluminum "brick" for the cable...! This is the most important difference between hand-drawing and the computer-designing- capturing the light!

When the design is ready for the next step we start creating the  first prototypes on CNC cutting machines. This is the right time to discuss whether they meet our expectations. At this stage, we also begin cable auditions, which demonstrate whether the design assumptions have proven effective in practice.

It's full of vitality and energy, which will surely fully satisfy many of you. For me, it is worth every penny asked. Jacek Pazio

TheRay does not sharpen or contour anything, and at the same time it draws the virtual sources clearly and precisely. We get a full pool of the so-called plankton and aura surrounding the musicians, the smallest murmurs and reverbs building a holographic space and a surprisingly large amount of the air-both on top as well as at the back of the stage. HANDCRAFTED ORIGINAL DESIGN

The TheRay Power Cable, just like the cables from the top TheRed line, is an absolutely original design, built 100% by hand, using only original solutions and materials. Great emphasis was placed on selecting the optimal cable geometry and special vibration damping materials, matching them to the materials used as conductors. The signal is conducted using pure high purity oxygen free copper. The total cross section of working wires is 18 mm2. This cable is a compilation of three different cores.

It's a cable for systems in which nothing needs to be fixed. It plays “wide” in the sense of momentum and dynamics, and is resolving. It's a cable with very good tonal and dynamic balance. A really good product and simply - I'll say it again - cool. Wojciech Pacuła
